About

Tawei (David) Wang is currently a KPMG/Neil F. Casson Endowed Professor, and associate dean for faculty and research at the Driehaus College of Business. Wang's research interests include information security management and IT management. His papers have appeared in several leading journals, including Information Systems Research, Accounting Horizons, Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, Decision Support Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Information and Management, Information Systems Journal, International Journal of Accounting Information Systems, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Information Systems, among others.

At DePaul, Wang mainly teaches audit data analytics and has been invited by universities and conferences around the world to discuss curriculum design and analytics teaching strategies. He is a Fulbright Specialist for developing analytics curriculum for accounting/auditing programs. He was a speaker for IIA, IMA, ISACA and a panelist for the Federal Reserve Bank Charlotte. 

He actively serves in the professional community as a workshop/conference coordinator, reviewer, and editorial board member. He was the president of the American Accounting Association (AAA) Midwest Region and Accounting Information Systems Section.​ Wang is currently a co-senior editor of the Journal of Information Systems and an associate editor of Information and Management.
