Matthew Stern

Matthew T. Stern is an Associate Professor at DePaul's School of Accountancy & MIS and Program Director of Business Analytics Undergraduate Degree. He earned his PhD in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2016. Dr. Stern currently teaches classes on data analytics and machine learning in the MSAA and BUA programs. He has contributed research on juror and nonprofessional investor decision-making to journals like Contemporary Accounting Research and the Journal of Financial Reporting. His current research interests including machine learning and artificial intelligence, including human-computer interaction.
