About

Jun Xu is an associate professor of marketing at the Driehaus College of Business. His main research interests include selling effectiveness, channels of distribution and inter-organizational relationships and innovation. His research has been published in the Journal of Marketing, the International Journal of Research in Marketing, the Journal of Business Research, the Academy of Management Learning and Education and the Journal of Vocational Behavior. He has also been serving as a professional reviewer for the American Marketing Association, Academy of Marketing Science, Society for Marketing Advances, Academy of Management, Southern Management Association and other academic journals. Xu has received multiple proposal/dissertation/paper awards from the American Marketing Association Sales SIG, the Global Sales Science Institute and the Institute for the Study of Business Markets. He has industrial working experience at multinational telecommunication companies such as Bell Alcatel Co. and consulting experience for leading firms, including Johnson & Johnson, Citibank, JCPenney and Hess. At DePaul, he teaches both graduate and undergraduate levels courses, including Marketing Management and Principles of Marketing.
