The strategic design of organizations has been the common theme that runs through my research efforts. The design aspects have considered how improvement programs and technology can be developed within an organization to enhance its performance as well as how various processes function within an organization. At this time, I am examining the impact of an organization’s core values on its operations.
My current focus has emphasized healthcare organizations. However, my belief is that organizational processes function similarly regardless of organizational type. As a result, I am trying to generalize the findings from studies of organizations among the various sectors within the economy.
