Personal profile

Research Interests

My post doctoral research focused on investigating thin film reactions and film characterization using molecular beam and Reflection Absorption Infrared Spectroscopy (RAIRS) analysis using UHV. My work has focused recently on investigating the sticking probabilities of isotopologues of CO2 on thin films of various CO2 ices.

My graduate research focused on the investigation of carbon monoxide oxidation reaction pathways on Rh(111) via RAIRS. Other topics in my lab are investigating the emergence of subsurface oxygen on Rh(111) and investigating oxygen reconstruction on curved Ag(111). The lab has focused on many UHV surface techniques like low electron diffraction (LEED), temperature program desorption (TPD), scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), Auger-Meitner electron spectroscopy (AES), and RAIRS.
