About

Dr. ​​​​​Habtzghi earned his PhD in Statistics from the University of Georgia in 2006. He then held positions as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Georgia College and State University from 2006 to 2008, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Akron from 2008 to 2014, and a tenured Associate Professor and the Program Coordinator of the Department of Statistics at the University of Akron from 2014 to 2015. Dr. Habtzghi joined the faculty at DePaul University in 2015.

Research Interests

​Dr. Habtzghi’s research interests are in survival analysis, biostatistics, statistical computing and statistical applications to biomedical and behavioral sciences.​
